COVID-19 Dashboard 
N.C. A&T's dashboard for positive COVID-19 tests can be found on the Aggies Care site. Unless otherwise noted, the dashboard displays the most recent 14 days of available data and is updated daily by 5 p.m.

Flu Vaccine Available at Student Health Center
The Student Health Center is now offering the flu shot for this upcoming winter months! We have received our first shipment of 100 doses. Please come by or schedule an appointment with the Student Health Center during clinic and pharmacy business hours, 8 a.m.-7 p.m. The Student Health Center will be receiving more flu vaccines later in the month.
Please be advised that upon receiving the shot your insurance will be billed.

Learn STEM Skills and Credentials with Digital Badge Program
N.C. A&T is starting a digital badge program, funded by the National Science Foundation, to enable undergraduate students to increase their STEM skills through mentorship programs, experiential learning activities, research opportunities, scholarships, and more. The ASETTS program will connect students to researchers, professionals, and alumni from STEM‐related fields currently working in transportation careers and give students extra credentials to increase their marketability and secure employment after graduation.

Creating Work-life Balance in a Time of Remote Learning - Oct. 19
The "Creating Work-Life Balance and Personal Boundaries in a Time of Remote Learning" workshop is a collaborative event co-sponsored by the Digital Learning Faculty Fellows program (The Extended Campus), the ADVANCE Institutional Transformation (IT) Project and the Center for Teaching Excellence.
The workshop is designed to equip faculty, engaged in remote teaching, with strategies and tools for establishing and maintaining work-life balance as well as steps for creating personal/professional boundaries.  Tuesday, Oct. 19, 3:30 - 5 p.m. Register here.

CoST Dean's Distinguished Lecture Series - Oct. 19
Climate Change, Environmental Health, and Children's Health
Want to learn more about climate change and its effects on us all, including children? Can you make a contribution to stemming global warming or its effects? Learn about this and more during the CoSt Dean Distinguished Lecture Series, featuring Aaron Bernstein, MD, MPH. Bernstein leads the Center for Climate, Health, and the Global Environment at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Tuesday, Oct. 19, 3 - 4 p.m. (EST). Join via Zoom.

CSAM: Drip7 - Microlearning Cybersecurity by Gamification - Oct. 20
Heather Stratford, CEO of Drip7, will teach us how cybersecurity education is accessible to everyone via microlearning. Drip7 is a revolutionary new microlearning platform that is re-inventing the way users are introduced to and trained on cybersecurity and cyber skills that come along with modern technology. This webinar will take place Oct. 20 at 2 p.m. Register here.

"Art and Media: A Conversation with Kennedi Carter" and Master Class - Oct. 20&21
The University Galleries will host a virtual program, “Art and Media: A Conversation with Kennedi Carter,” Wednesday, Oct. 20, at 6 p.m. On Thursday, Oct. 21, at noon, artist Kennedi Carter will conduct a master class designed for students who are interested in navigating careers in the world of art, photography and media at the University Galleries. Carter, a Durham, North Carolina native, is a contemporary African American photographic artist known for her work that addresses race, gender and class. CSAM: Tech-Facilitated Abuse & the Modern Age of Domestic Violence - Oct. 21
Our partners from the Coalition Against Stalkerware will join us in a discussion, Oct. 21 at noon, about the devastating impact silent stalking applications have on their victims. We will be joined by Professor Nicola Dell, Assistant Professor at Cornell Tech and Co-Founder of the Clinic to End Tech Abuse to focus more broadly on the current state of tech abuse. The Director of N.C. A&T’s Cybersecurity Forensic Hub for Women (Cyber 911), Dr. Carla Coates, Interim Chair of Criminal Justice will lend her legal knowledge to these issues.

Undergraduate Research and Creativity SNCURS 2021
For the fall 2021 semester, all N.C. A&T undergraduate researchers are requested to participate in the State of North Carolina Undergraduate Research and Creativity Symposium (SNCURS). Abstract submissions for this year’s event will be accepted Sept. 13–Oct. 15, 2021 (11:59 p.m.) Presentation Upload Dates: Oct. 26, 2021, 8 a.m. to Nov. 10, 2021, 11:59 p.m. Symposium Dates: Saturday, Nov. 13, with Preview Day on Friday, Nov. 12.For more information, visit SNCURCS.org.

End of Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration - Oct. 29
In recognition of Hispanic Heritage Month 2021, the Office of Intercultural Engagement & Estamos Unidos will host an End of Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration. The event will take place on Friday, Oct. 29, in the Student Center, room 385, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Join us and network and learn about the diverse Latinx student communities on campus. Engage in an interactive panel discussion. There will be light refreshments and giveaways.

Volunteers Needed For COVID-19 Study
Volunteers requested for a research study within the Social Work and Sociology Department at N.C. A&T. The purpose of this study is to explore the attitudes and concerns that A&T students have about romantic and sexual relationships during COVID-19. This study will also examine attitudes and perceptions about the COVID-19 vaccines. Qualified students will receive a $25 gift card for participating in a virtual interview. Research Study on COVID-19 and Student Leadership
Students at N.C. A&T and UNCG Joint School of Social Work are conducting a research study to understand the impact of COVID-19 on student leaders attending both universities. Qualifying individuals must be: student leader at N.C. A&T or UNCG during the COVID-19 pandemic; 18 years of age or older, able to speak English. Qualified individuals will be asked to participate in a confidential one-time virtual interview that will last 45-60 minutes. Your name will not be used in the study. You will receive a $10 Starbucks gift card in exchange for your participation in the study. Complete the Qualtrics interest form or contact the research team at (336) 517-7446 or ttrichar@uncg.edu or trichardson2@aggies.ncat.edu to arrange an interview. 
Counseling Services Support

If you ever have a concern about improper conduct, fraud, waste or abuse, please do not keep it to yourself. You may report these concerns or any violation of policies, procedures, regulations, state and federal laws to your immediate supervisor or department head, if appropriate.

There are also two methods for reporting concerns or violations anonymously and in confidence via the University Hotline. You may call the University Hotline toll free at 877-507-7313 or make a report online. Both reporting methods are confidential and are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
