JUNE
Fiscal Year End Deadlines for Travel Reimbursements, Cash Advances, T-Card Transactions;
Upcoming Splash Labs
Travel Reimbursements and Cash Advances
- All cash advances issued during fiscal year (FY) 2026 for completed travel must be reconciled and submitted by June 5, 2026. No cash advances will be issued for the remainder of the fiscal year.
Failure to comply may negatively impact future requests for travel advances. - All FY 2026 travel expenses for completed travel must also be reconciled and submitted by June 5, 2026, to ensure charges are recorded in the current fiscal year.
- Expenses submitted after this date may be charged to next fiscal year’s budget.
Travel (T-Card) Card Transactions
- It is extremely important that all T-Card transactions are reconciled promptly.
- All T-Card transactions must be reconciled and fully approved by June 23, 2026.
- It is the traveler’s responsibility to monitor expense reports and ensure all required approvals are completed before the deadline.
- Any unreconciled travel card transactions will be charged to next fiscal year’s budget.
Splash Labs
Travel Services will hold Emburse Enterprise Splash Labs on the following dates. Please register for the sessions on Cornerstone using your OneID credentials.

GRADS-4C Research Symposium 3rd Annual Cloud Computing Education in Data Science, Genomics and Health Symposia - AI and Digital Health: Potential, Promise and Peril; The Genomic Research and Data Science Center for Cloud Computing (GRADS-4C) is a collaborative educational hub between North Carolina A & T State University, Winston-Salem State University, North Carolina Central University, and Shaw University, focused on expanding participation in biomedical research through computational data science and genomics.

Deese Advantage Summer Prep Institute is a five-day summer day camp hosted by the Willie A. Deese College of Business and Economics at North Carolina A&T State University. Designed for rising high school juniors and seniors, this program focuses on strengthening math, readiness, business awareness, and college success skills.
Students will:
- Engage in interactive math labs, business-focused learning activities, and personalized instruction using a math assessment platform. Build confidence in math while demonstrating how it applies to real-world business careers such as finance, accounting, analytics, and entrepreneurship.
- Receive guidance on study skills, time management, and academic expectations to better prepare them for college-level coursework.
- Create a personalized learning plan and continued support through a required virtual follow-up during the fall semester, ensuring students remain on track for academic success.

Minority Serving Cyberinfrastructure Consortium
Invites Your Input
As part of the Minority Serving Cyberinfrastructure Consortium grant project at N.C. A&T, the research team invites the A&T community to complete a brief, anonymous survey to better understand its use of research computing resources and overall cyberinfrastructure needs.Cyberinfrastructure includes computers, software, devices, networks, human skills, and technical expertise.
The insights gathered will help inform a transformative effort to enhance research capacity, strengthen data scholarship, and promote interdisciplinary collaboration at A&T.
The student portion of this survey was written by your peers, and we hope that you will engage and provide us with your honest feedback. Your participation is completely voluntary; no identifying information will be linked to your survey.

The Career Champions program is a three‑part training series designed to equip faculty and staff with tools to better support students’ career readiness. We currently have 63 certified Career Champions and are aiming to reach 100 by the end of the semester. To support this goal, additional virtual sessions are now available, and each session lasts one hour. While the three parts do not need to be taken consecutively, all must be completed to earn certification. Interested participants can register using the enrollment form.

The Living Archives Project: Your Memories, Our History
F.D. Bluford Library’s Living Archives Project is an initiative to preserve the vibrant experiences and shared memories of N.C. A&T. students. Through the collection of student-contributed photographs, the Library aims to document the spirit, creativity, and everyday life of the Aggie community. This living archive ensures that the stories, traditions, and moments that define each generation are captured and preserved as part of the University’s history.

Coming Fall 2026 – Canvas by Instructure
North Carolina A&T State University will transition to a new learning management system (LMS), Canvas, for the Fall 2026 semester as a replacement for Blackboard. Canvas is widely adopted, integrates with many tools, and supports modern pedagogical features, offering a flexible and user-friendly environment for teaching and learning.

Digital Navigator Program – Ongoing
F.D. Bluford Library has launched a pilot program to expand and support our laptop loans. Students, faculty, and staff can request to work with a digital navigator to support their digital inclusion needs. The Digital Navigators at F.D.
