Travel Services December Splash Labs

The University Travel Services Team reminds all travelers that travel card expenses from previous or current billing cycles are due on Dec. 26. We strongly encourage all travelers to ensure that all charges are reconciled BEFORE you leave for the holiday break.
To assist those with reconciliation of travel card charges and other travel expenses, the team will hold "Splash Labs" during the following dates and times:
Dec. 16, 18 or 23: 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.; 2-4 p.m.

Summer Camps at North Carolina A&T State University offer a unique and enriching experience for both participants and organizers. This is a wonderful opportunity for our university community to contribute to engaging, educational, and fun summer programs.

The Living Archives Project: Your Memories, Our History

F.D. Bluford Library’s Living Archives Project is an initiative to preserve the vibrant experiences and shared memories of N.C. A&T. students. Through the collection of student-contributed photographs, the Library aims to document the spirit, creativity, and everyday life of the Aggie community. This living archive ensures that the stories, traditions, and moments that define each generation are captured and preserved as part of the University’s history.

Annual MLK Jr. Oratory Contest: Mission Possible II-Building community, Uniting a Nation the non-Violent Way

The Graduate Research Clearance session of our "Let's Talk About It" series will focus on the Graduate Research Clearance process at N.C. A&T. This discussion is designed to provide clarity on requirements, timelines and best practices for ensuring compliance throughout the research lifecycle. We encourage all graduate research students and faculty advisors to attend, as this will be an informative and collaborative opportunity to address questions and share guidance.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration

This event is free and open to the public.
For the past 13 years, the annual celebration of Dr. Martin L. King Jr. has been a collaborative effort among North Carolina A&T State University, the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Guilford Technical Community College, Greensboro College and Guilford College.
The 2026 collective theme is: “Mission Possible II: Building Community, Uniting a Nation the Non-Violent Way.”
This year’s commemoration will be held on the campus of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro at 6:30 p.m. in the UNCG Auditorium (College of Visual & Performing Arts).
The program will feature:
   • Official welcome from a UNC-Greensboro representative
   • Student-led panel discussion reflecting on Dr. King’s legacy
   • Musical selections by N.C. A&T State University’s Fellowship Gospel Choir
   • Reception and additional presentations

Coming Fall 2026 – Canvas by Instructure

North Carolina A&T State University will transition to a new learning management system (LMS), Canvas, for the Fall 2026 semester as a replacement for Blackboard. Canvas is widely adopted, integrates with many tools, and supports modern pedagogical features, offering a flexible and user-friendly environment for teaching and learning.
Information sessions for faculty, chairs, and administrative staff are scheduled for November and December 2025. Click here to register. Training will begin January 2026. Visit the Canvas Implementation website for FAQs and more information about the transition.

Digital Navigator Program – Ongoing

F.D. Bluford Library has launched a pilot program to expand and support our laptop loans. Students, faculty, and staff can request to work with a digital navigator to support their digital inclusion needs.    The Digital Navigators at F.D. Bluford Library can help you:    Connect to free and low-cost internet options    Access digital literacy skills training    Recommend students to our laptop lending program    Request an appointment to work with a digital navigator:
       You can also call 336-285-4164 to get help filling out this form to make an appointment. Students who receive Pell grants qualify for reduced cost internet through the Affordable Connectivity Plan. We can help these students access this resource.
