This is an online workshop on Citation Management Using RefWorks. With ProQuest’s RefWorks citation management software, students, faculty, staff and other members of the N.C. A&T community will learn how this cloud-based application can reduce the time and effort needed to produce a reference list and/or place proper in-text citations in a paper for a class assignment, Master's Thesis, Ph.D. Dissertation, collaborative journal article, and/or grant proposal.

Digital/E-Portfolios Workshop

This workshop will provide an overview of the different types of e-portfolios in higher education and will discuss the applicability of e-portfolio use in a classroom setting, whether face-to-face or virtual.
E-portfolios are used in many academic settings, and creating an e-portfolio is particularly useful for students in many ways. E-portfolios can be a personal tool for storing, organizing, reflecting on, and sharing items or artifacts that represent your learning. Students can include documents, graphics, audio files, videos, presentations and coursework to demonstrate skills in certain areas. The Wix platform will be highlighted during this workshop series and supplemental digital tools will also be used and discussed.

Commencement Fall 2025: Staff Assistance
As plans are underway for our upcoming fall 2025 commencement ceremonies on Friday, Dec. 12 (graduate) and Saturday, Dec. 13 (undergraduate), we are seeking assistance from university staff.
We require all staff who work commencement to attend one of three training sessions that will be offered in the coming weeks. Please register for one of the training sessions noted below. New enhancements have been implemented and attending one of the sessions is critical to ensuring we deliver the best Aggie Experience for our graduates, friends and families.

The Alvin V. Blount Student Health Center, in partnership with Novant Health, is pleased to host a Mobile Mammogram Unit on Thursday, Oct. 16, from 9 a.m.. – 4 p.m. in the AVB Student Health Center Parking lot. This is a convenient opportunity to take care of your health by receiving a 3D mammography screening right here on campus. The minimum age for a screening mammogram is 35 years of age and insurance is required. We encourage you to reserve your appointment by Oct. 2.
