Minority Serving Cyberinfrastructure Consortium
Invites Your Input

Complete the survery here

As part of the Minority Serving Cyberinfrastructure Consortium grant project at N.C. A&T, the research team invites the A&T community to complete a brief, anonymous survey to better understand its use of research computing resources and overall cyberinfrastructure needs.Cyberinfrastructure includes computers, software, devices, networks, human skills, and technical expertise.

The insights gathered will help inform a transformative effort to enhance research capacity, strengthen data scholarship, and promote interdisciplinary collaboration at A&T.

The student portion of this survey was written by your peers, and we hope that you will engage and provide us with your honest feedback. Your participation is completely voluntary; no identifying information will be linked to your survey.

Additionally, if you are interested in participating in a graduate-student focus group to provide feedback about your research and computing experiences, please visit our contact form.

Your participation will help improve research computing across NC A&T and other HBCUs! For more about our NSF supported research please click here.

Office of Emergency Management Hazard Mitigation Planning - Help Focus Strategies

March 30 - April 30
Complete the survey here

As part of the continued efforts to keep our campus safe, N.C. A&T is updating the Hazard Mitigation Plan. Hazard mitigation planning reduces loss of life and property by minimizing the impact of disasters. It begins with identifying all hazards, risks and vulnerabilities that are common in our area and on campus. After identifying these risks, we develop long-term strategies for protecting people and property from similar events.

Mitigation plans are key to breaking the cycle of disaster damage and reconstruction. As a part of this plan update, we ask that you take a moment to fill out the survey and share your opinions on what you think our greatest threats are. Your feedback will help focus our planning for mitigation strategies.

For questions or more information on this process, please reach out to the Office of Emergency Management at oem@ncat.edu

Applications Open for Duke University's
Code+ Summer Program

Experiential Learning for the Next Generation of Technology Leaders
NCShare will again host a project team in Duke University's Code+ program for summer 2026. Applications are now open

Calling all undergraduate students! Apply for Code+, a 10-week immersive summer coding experience on Duke’s campus. Each summer, Code+ brings together undergraduate students, faculty and IT professionals to solve meaningful problems through technology. Over 10 intensive weeks, students work in teams of 4–6 to design and build applications, dashboards, and AI-powered tools that support research, operations, and community initiatives. Many participants enter the program with very limited coding experience — and leave with the confidence to pursue internships, research and careers in technology.

Code+ emphasizes:

  • Real-world, stakeholder-driven projects
  • Exposure to multiple tech stacks
  • Professional skill development
  • Mentorship and peer community

This project-based summer experience is designed for students with no prior tech work experience. Students from NCShare participating institutions may apply only to the designated NCShare project (“Research Efficiency: Gamifying Smarter Compute Use”) and must use the non-Duke student application form.
