Maintenance Window

ITS will delay most of the December Maintenance Window to December 21 – 22, 2024 to ensure that there are no conflicts with entering final grades. ITS is unable to delay the scheduled Banner maintenance since it will be performed by our service provider for multiple clients. However, Banner Admin Pages and Self Service (AggieAccess) should remain available during the period. Banner maintenance will proceed as scheduled on Saturday, 12/14/24 from 8:00 a.m. through 9:00 p.m.

The following systems may experience intermittent interruptions during the December 21 – 22, 2024 Maintenance Window:

  • AggieList (Group email lists)
  • Aggie Mart (Procurement system)
  • Aggies Secureshare (A service used by NC A&T for transmitting and receiving sensitive files between internal and external entities.)
  • Axiom (A third party software that provides data transformation and transfer from the Slate Admissions application to the Banner ERP for the office of Undergraduate Admission.)
  • BDM (Banner Document Management)
  • Banner printing and Banner email
  • DataTransfer (Application used by Admissions to process data in student applications.)
  • Institutional Research web server
  • Payroll (NCAT employee)
  • REDCap (Research Electronic Data Capture – a web-based application to support data capture for research studies.)
  • Robotics Process Automation (RPA – a generic term for software technology that makes it easy to build, deploy, and manage software robots that emulate/automate humans actions interacting with digital systems and software.)
  • Student labs
  • Student printing
  • University File Share
