Maintenance Window

Information Technology Services (ITS) will conduct maintenance starting at 8:00 a.m., Saturday, March 16th, through 2:00 p.m., Sunday, March 17th.

Banner production and the following associated systems will be unavailable: Aggie Access, Banner Admin Pages, Banner Document Management (BDM), Banner Workflow, Degree Works, eTranscripts, and WebFOCUS.

In addition, updates and routine maintenance procedures will be performed on IT systems and infrastructure.

The following systems may experience intermittent interruptions during the ITS Maintenance Window:

  • AggieConnect (SharePoint 2013)
  • AggieList (Group email lists)
  • Aggie Mart (Procurement system)
  • Axiom (A third party software that provides data transformation and transfer from the Slate Admissions application to the Banner ERP for the office of Undergraduate Admission.)
  • Banner printing and Banner email
  • Banner Production
    The following systems will be unavailable from 8:00 a.m. through 7:00 p.m., Saturday, March 16th:  Aggie Access, Banner Admin Pages, Banner Document Management (BDM), Banner Workflow, Degree Works, eTranscripts, and WebFOCUS.
  • BDM (Banner Document Management)
  • DataTransfer (Application used by Admissions to process data in student applications)
  • Institutional Research web server
  • ODS (An operational data store (ODS) is a central database that provides a snapshot of the latest data from multiple transactional systems for operational reporting.)
  • Payroll (NCAT employee)
  • REDCap (Research Electronic Data Capture – a web-based application to support data capture for research studies)
  • Robotics Process Automation (RPA) (A generic term for software technology that makes it easy to build, deploy, and manage software robots that emulate/automate humans actions interacting with digital systems and software.)
  • Student labs
  • Student printing
  • University File Share

Please test your applications after the ITS Maintenance Window and report any problems to the Help Desk at (336) 334-7195.

While maintenance will not be performed on the systems below, work will be performed on the authentication mechanism. Please check that these systems continue to perform as expected after each Maintenance Window. Please notify the Help Desk at (336) 334-7195 if you experience any problems.

  • Blackboard (Learning Management System)
  • EverFi (Online student training)
  • Freshdesk (Customer support software and ticketing system)
  • AggiesNav (A web-based early-alert student management system)
  • LinkedIn (Online learning system)
  • Maxient (Public safety and incident reporting application)
  • NetDocuments (A cloud-based document and email management service)
  • Office 365 (NCAT staff email, OneDrive, Skype, SharePoint Online, Groups)
  • OneID (One Identity solutions govern identities, manage privileged accounts, and control access)
  • Qualtrics (A web-based survey platform)
  • UpSwing (Online tutoring system)
