IRS Mileage Rate Update
Effective January 1, 2026, the IRS standard mileage reimbursement rate for business travel has increased to 72.5 cents per mile. Emburse Enterprise has been updated to reflect the new rate.

Hertz Added to Statewide Rental Car Contract
Hertz Rental Cars is now part of North Carolina’s statewide rental vehicle contracts, giving travelers three approved options: Enterprise, National, and Hertz.

Reminder: All university business rentals must be booked with one of these three approved companies. Enterprise/National reservations continue through the NC A&T portal.
