Doing Business with North Carolina A&T State University

North Carolina A&T State University (NC A&T), a constituent institution of the University of North Carolina System, welcomes opportunities to partner with qualified suppliers that support the University’s academic, research, and operational missions.

All procurement activities are conducted in accordance with North Carolina law, UNC System guidance, and University procedures to ensure fair competition, transparency, and responsible stewardship of public funds.

Suppliers interested in doing business with NC A&T should begin with the following steps:

Register in the NC Electronic Vendor Portal (eVP)
Suppliers must register with the State’s vendor system to receive solicitation notifications and participate in formal bid opportunities.

Procurement Services

NC A&T Procurement Services manages purchasing, contracting, and supplier engagement for the University. The office works with departments to ensure procurement activities comply with state statutes, UNC System requirements, and University procedures.

Procurement Process

NC A&T utilizes AggieMart (eProcure2Pay) to manage requisitions, purchase orders, and invoice processing.

Competition requirements vary depending on the dollar value of the purchase, commodity or service type, and whether an existing State or UNC System contract is available.

Supplier communications regarding active or anticipated solicitations must be coordinated through Procurement Services to maintain fairness and compliance with state procurement standards.

Suppliers may market goods and services directly to departments for informal purchases, provided such communications adhere to University and State ethical standards.

Suppliers conducting business with NC A&T must comply with applicable North Carolina General Statutes, UNC System policies, and University requirements.

Suppliers conducting repeated business transactions in North Carolina may be considered to be transacting business in the state and must obtain authorization from the North Carolina Secretary of State as required by:
