Federal Funding Opportunities

Researchers can target their search for federal funding opportunities by using the following resources:

Contract Opportunities: Federal contract opportunities (formerly FedBizOpps and Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance Programs):

Defense Technical Information Center: Department of Defense opportunities

Limited Submission Opportunities

Some federal agencies restrict the number of proposals that a university can submit in response to a specific Request for Proposals. These are referred to as “limited submission opportunities” and require internal coordination and screening by NC A&T to determine which proposal is submitted. The CompetitionSpace web portal provides a list of limited submission opportunities.
