AI Accelerator
The AI Accelerator is North Carolina A&T State University's comprehensive program, led by Information Technology Services (ITS), that empowers our campus community to leverage artificial intelligence through education, support, and secure access to cutting-edge technologies.
The AI Accelerator is built on four key areas:
- AI Training & Support – Literacy programs, hands-on workshops, and best practice guidance that help faculty, staff, and students build confidence in integrating AI responsibly and effectively.
- AI Tools – Secure, university-approved platforms that provide access to enterprise-grade AI technologies designed to enhance teaching, research, and administrative work.
- AI Employee Innovation Lounge – A collaborative space where faculty and staff can connect, explore AI applications, and share ideas—available both as a virtual community and through in-person sessions.
- AI Data Governance – Clear guidance on how to use AI responsibly with University data, grounded in the institution’s Information Security Policy.
By embedding AI into the fabric of our institution across these areas, the AI Accelerator ensures every Aggie has the resources, expertise, and infrastructure to thrive today while preparing to lead tomorrow.
