SAAO Tier I

Required to post? Yes
Minimum Posting Period: 30 Calendar days
Process: These positions are posted and advertised using People Admin. In addition, must be advertised with a national publication with broad circulation. (ie. HERC or Chronicle of Higher Ed). In order to comply with federal regulations, if the department wishes to sponsor a foreign national for permanent residency after employment has begun, the position must be re-advertised (media source and scope of ads to be determined based on the type of green card), and the posting period must be at least 30 days.

Tenure/ Tenure Track Faculty

Postdoc appointments follow EHRA Non-Faculty position management, recruitment, and appointment procedures, which include an open, competitive recruitment. Postdoc positions must be established by submitting a position description through PeopleAdmin.

Temporary SHRA & EHRA (other than student workers) - Including posiions that have historically been hired as "flat rate"

Minimum Posting Period: 5 Business days
Process: If posting, these positions are posted and advertised using People Admin. The process for temporary staff. Candidates apply via People Admin. Department notifies Staffing Services when position is filled to close out the recruitment.
