Graduate or Post-Baccalaureate Certificates:
- Need to contain at least 12 credit hours.
- Must be taught by graduate faculty.
- Provide alternative student access to college programs.
Consideration in Developing Certificate Programs
- Only needs to be approved on campus.
- Students must meet admissions requirements.
- Existing courses and industry skills gaps data can be leveraged to begin new certificate programs.
- Students can receive financial aid.
- Graduate certificate programs can be stacked or combined to meet the requirements for a master’s degree.
- OSPIE has the forms and process to create new certificates.
