Graduate or Post-Baccalaureate Certificates:

  • Need to contain at least 12 credit hours.
  • Must be taught by graduate faculty.
  • Provide alternative student access to college programs.
     

Consideration in Developing Certificate Programs

  • Only needs to be approved on campus.
  • Students must meet admissions requirements.
  • Existing courses and industry skills gaps data can be leveraged to begin new certificate programs.
  • Students can receive financial aid.
  • Graduate certificate programs can be stacked or combined to meet the requirements for a master’s degree.
  • OSPIE has the forms and process to create new certificates.
