October Is National Cybersecurity Awareness Month

National Cybersecurity Awareness Month (CSAM)

We continuously store personal data on our own or entrust third party organizations to store personal data on our behalf for educational, business, and/or personal use.  With the rise in news reports about hacked consumer data, we have or eventually will ask ourselves one simple question.  Have I been hacked?

Throughout October, join the Division of Information Technology Services (ITS) and the Center for Excellence in Cybersecurity Research, Education and Outreach (CREO) at the listed NCSAM events designed to do the following:

  • Answer the question Have I been hacked?
  • Promote awareness about FREE cybersecurity education and certificate opportunities from N.C. A&T industry partners such as IBM’s Security Learning Academy and the CISCO Academy.
  • Highlight the importance of cybersecurity at N.C. A&T and beyond.

Each event is FREE.  All events are open to N.C. A&T students and employees.  Select events are open to the public.
