Workflow for Selected Candidate

Once you have completed interviews (must interview at least 3 applicants), route your selected candidate through the approval workflow within your School, College or Division and then to the EEO Approval workflow state.

First, go into the Hire (click on 3 dots-top left corner) module in People Admin; also set your view to Applicant Reviewer (top right corner).

Change the status of all non-selected applicants from the workflow state of Under Review by Dept/Committee to either Interview or Not Selected for Interview, as follows:

1) Click on the box beside the names of all applicants that where interviewed first (can be done individually or in bulk)

2) Click on the Orange “Actions” button (lower right corner)

3) Click on Move in Workflow and change the workflow state of applicant(s) by clicking on the drop down arrow beside Change for All Applicants

4) Select workflow state – Move to Interview

5) Save changes

You will do the same for applicants that were Not Selected for Interview.

Once the applicant status’ are changed for non-selected candidates, move the selected candidate in the workflow as follows:

1) Click on candidate’s first name

2) Take action on Job Application (via the orange button, top right corner), and move application in workflow to Dean/Vice Chancellor

Once the selected candidate has been approved by all levels of your School, College or Division, the next step in the workflow is to route the selected candidate to DHR for EEO Review by the Director of Employee Relations and Affirmative Action.

I will contact you via email once the selected candidate’s action is moved in the workflow to Recommend for Hire.
