Research and Intern Job Scams
The intent of this fraudulent job offer that targets students is to mislead students into seeking jobs that don't exist. Once the scammer had a student on the hook, the scammer requests resume information, asks for banking information, emails a fake N.C. A&T check, asks the student to pay for office supplies with part of the check and refund the difference via a payment app.
