Getting Access to Banner Document Management (BDM)

Q.  How do I get access to Banner Document Management?

A.  To request access, complete the User Account Request Form section of the BDM Account Request Form, sign the Confidentiality Security Agreement, and submit it to the appropriate BDM Data Owner for review/approval/signature. 

BDM Account Request Review Process

The BDM Data Owner reviews each User Account Request form to determine the appropriate level of user access. If the request is approved, the BDM Data Owner completes the BDM Privileges section of the BDM Account Request Form, to grant user access for specific domains and user groups within BDM. 

The BDM Data Owner submits the completed BDM Account Request Form to the EAS BDM Administrator via an Aggie Support service request. The EAS BDM Administrator creates the user account and grants access as directed by the BDM Data Owner. The EAS BDM Administrator notifies the account requestor and BDM Data Owner via the service the Aggie Support service request. 

All requests for access to student data are governed by the Federal Educational Family Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) to ensure the confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
